Welcome! I am really excited to be a part of your child's
learning years. I have been at Oliver M. Smith Kawenni:io School as a Teacher's Assistant for the past two years and
have been asked to come back as the Grade 2 teacher. I have completed my Aboriginal Teacher's Certificate Program at
Nipissing University and really look forward to sharing with all of your children. Our classroom has an open-door policy,
so feel free to come and visit at any time. I look forward to meeting you all and having a great year!
I would like to add that my favourite books are by James Patterson or Patricia Cornwell, and these are medical
mystery books. My favourite movies are the scary ones where you only get to eat your popcorn at the beginning and by
the end of the movie you still have most of it left. I also feel the best kind of music is Country. It really
is the only one where you can understand all of the words and know what they are singing about.
